Pain after Root Canal Treatment.

I had a root canal treatment 6 months ago and had a permanent crown placed 2 weeks after the procedure. This was in a lower right molar. 2 days ago I started to get an awful pain where the crown is placed but with no insurance, I am unable to get a check up. My entire right cheek is aching with pain and my jaw hurts when I eat now. What would be the cause of this pain?

Your problem may be caused by failed root canal treatment or root fracure, or occlusal trauma. Seeing a dentist is advised.
