Pain after root canal and crown

I'm having pain in a molar 6 months after getting a root canal and crown on the molar. The dentist says the tooth is fine. What could be the problem? thanks

I can relate. I have had 12 root canals and still get pain in several of them. It is really annoying because they always tell you it looks *fine.*

I believe pain is a sign that something is wrong. Get another opinion. I am going through some major pain right now from an infection that got below the root canal and the infection went into the bone.

I agree with you and I never went to dental school! Going to the dentist tomorrow. If he doesn't work out going to another. Did you get antibiotics that killed the infection?
