Pain after temporary filling

Pain after temporary filling

I had a filling 3 weeks ago, but as I was experiencing alot of sensitivity and throbbing, I went back to the dentist today.  He has placed a temporary filling and asked me to go back in 11 days time for a proper filling.  As soon as the numbing injection wore off, I was in severe pain.  The nerve in this tooth and the surrounding ones is unbearable, and I'm unable to tal, eat or drink.  I'm 28 weeks pregnant - could this be adding to the pain?

Pregnancy probably has no contribution to your dental pain. Seeing an endodontist is advised.
