Pain under new crown

I had root canal and crown done on my 19. Everything went smooth but after two weeks a still felt a pain when biting with that tooth. Eventually crown started to feel loose. I went back to dentist. He took it off, ajusted and put it back on. After another two weeks pain didn't go away and I got feeling that crown is loose again. I went back again. Doctor took x-ray to make sure nothing bad is happening. He said that all looks good and that I have small cavity in tooth in front. He did the filling and told me it will take another week for crown to settle. I waited another two weeks but it is still the same. At this point I start to worry. I am not sure if I should go to someone else to get second opinion.

Your descriptions suggest occlusal interference of new restoration, assuming fitness of crown is accetable. If your dentist can not adjust occlusion optimally, you may need to see an occlusionist or prosthodontist.
