Partial denture broke - repaired - anxious

by asc01, Aug 01, 2008 04:46AM
I have had my dentures - large partial upper (cleft palate) and partial lower since mid-December.

Last week I felt a crack while eating, and when I removed them, the lower denture had broken at one of the narrower points.

This has now been repaired.  I am really scared of it happening again.  Could the fact that I use fixative contribute?

What is the likelihood of it recurring?

If it breaks again, perhaps getting a new one is a better option.

Check www.****.*** , they make duplicate dentures, you can have a spare denture in case your denture breaks again.
