wow..well I am on steriods from my asthma meds. I mean, I do brush but dont floss like I am suppose to. Plus I need 4 root canals smh. I got 2 root canals on my right side last thursday and now my face and neck are a lil swollen. I also have a canker like sore on my gum right above the root canals. I am suppose to be taking my antibotics but I been haven't. To sum it up in a nut shell. My tongue doesn't look like the orall thrush pictures. My dentist looked @ my tongue and said that I'm good. Wouldn't he be able to tell me if it was oral thursh ?

Great!!  You can get answers and be at ease.

Go easy on the brushing of your tongue so you do not irritate it more and make things more uncomfortable for yourself

Be sure to have a list of all meds you are taking or recently completed, type of toothpaste and any mouthwashes you have been using. Provide this information for your doctor when you see them tomorrow.

Take care,
Pat

You can Google.... Oral thrush pics or pictures. That should give you something to compare. If there is PROPER oral hygiene bring done a daily basis, along with regular dental checkups and cleanings, then EXCESSIVE plaque should not really be an issue.

Have you consulted a doctor on this?  No mention of that.
