Pola Night Advanced Tooth Whitening

Hi,

I wondered if anyone had experienced the Pola Night Advanced Tooth Whitening System.

My dental practice cannot do in-office whitening and therefore offers home whitening kits. I received mine and I noticed that it is called Pola Night.  Has anyone experienced this? If so, was it effective? I am hoping for good results, as I am having veneers and crowns soon, to match the colour of the teeth once whitened.

I strongly reccommend you not even do the whitening system. There have been studies to show that the material used to whiten your teeth actually etches the microscopic tubials in your enamel. This is not good because it is like having acid on your teeth. Your teeth can not repair themselves from this type of procedure. Which as a result makes your teeth more suseptible to cavities. You could have problems later. I would be careful also because you are doing veneers which does not cover the whole tooth so the remaining part will be exposed. So you could form a cavity around or under the veneer and may not be able to notice it for quite sometime. Educate yourself on bleaching. The long term results could cause you problems. good-luck!

I do in house whitening and have no experience with this system. More than likely it will be effective enough to allow you to have veneers.
