I do not believe in root canal for the simple reason I have done alot of research on root canal to be honest most roots canals are not neccesary, xrays are unconclusive whether or not root canal is needed a nerve test is what is accurate, alot of people think root canal is to kill the nerve but not true root canal just kills the tooth not the nerve if it did kill the nerve nobody would feel pain in the site and most dentist do root canal because it cost alot more money than a tooth extraction and root canal does not always work infact give or take another 5 years it is needed again.
I went to see a another Denitst other than my regular one he took xrays and was told I need root canal on 2 back top molars and said no thank you. I then went to my regular dentist she took a nerve test and said that no root canal is needed only antibiotics but the molars will have to come out. She also explain to me that when other patients do need root canal and they are for the molars she strongly suggets that the tooth/ teeth get extracted because when they are extracted you the nerve is killed also.
