Hello:
Looking for advice:
I fell recently, hitting my teeth on the concrete and breaking my top front teeth #8, 9 and 10. I had to have root canals on # 9 and 10.
I have had temporaries on for about two months. At first, I had a lot of pressure sensitiviy to #9 but it cleared up. I had a root canal (I cannot remember if pressure sensitivity was before or after root canal). Anyhow, I had the permanent crowns placed on Monday, November 14th. Since the crown placement, I have been experiencing pressure sensitivity on that tooth. My dentist said that this should go away because the nerves around the tooth are still traumatized.
I'm not sure what to think, but I'm quite concerned. My teeth turned out beautifully but I'm worried that with the pressure sensivity, that I may loose the tooth...?
Am I worrying needlessly? Will this sensitivity go away and will my beautiful new teeth be okay?
Thank you.
I did hit them extremely hard, but I'm worried about this.
