Reduce Pain for wisdom tooth

Dear all. i am cutting a wisdom tooth. it hurts me a lot and makes facial swelling. Please advice what drugs can reduce pain from the wisdom tooth. i dont want to have the tooth out. best regards!

Sorry but most likely removal of the wisdom tooth would solve the problem.  

You can try to rinse your mouth in case there is food stuck in the area  that might be causing the problem.  

Best to contact a dentist to get a prescription and an examination to find out what is the best treatment for that wisdom tooth.

Thanks doctor. i am 26 now, my wisdom tooth teethes almost completely. is it safe to remove it. i am scared of jaw fracture :-). beside this wisdom tooth, there are 2 other ones but they are ok, not hurts me at all.

It would depend on where they are and how much tooth is exposed and their position.  If there is plenty of room for them and you are able to keep them clean, there's no need to remove them.  But if they are impacted, I would recommend removing them to prevent future problems.  If you are young, you will have an easier time healing and you have less medical problems to worry about.  Also, the area may not be as badly infected now than in the future if you ever needed to remove them.  If you can imagine, if the area was infected, you're older and you may have some medical issues, it may be a more complicated procedure and healing time than if you do it earlier when its more optimal.  But there are still risks involved with removing wisdom teeth and these issues and any others should be discussed with your doctor.
