Roof Of Mouth Still Purple

I wrote about a week ago to you, about how the roof of my mouth is purple in color, on both sides near where the wisdom teeth used to be extending out toward the center of the palate. It is symmetrical on both sides, or very close to it. I had this looked at by a doctor, who thought it was broken blood vessels in the palate. It has been over a week since I have seen the doctor, and it still looks the same and has not gotten any better. I am curious if this is something that I should be worried about, and/or if this could be something normal that I am making a big deal out of. The purple skin gives me no pain or discomfort. If you consulted an oral surgeon and that was the diagnosis and he or she was not concerned  then I think that you should  not be worried. I do not know the type of doctor you saw but I hope it was an oral surgeon.
