Salty taste after replacing mercury filling with composite

Salty taste after replacing mercury filling with composite

I have an acupuncture patient who is experiencing an extreme salty taste in her mouth following the replacement of a mercury filling with composite.  Could this be an allergic reaction to the composite?  Any other ideas for cure or cause?  Help!

i do not know why this would be happening. I would consult an oral pathologist if it persists.,
