Sensitive teeth - unwelcome return.

I used to have very sensitive incisors but that problem seemed to go away over time. Recently I noticed that whenever I have a cool drink there is a pain in the molars in the right side of my mouth. Very hot food/drink also tends to trigger it. I'll be the first to admit that I have a massive sweet tooth and that it's been getting the better of me over the Easter holidays. Could my increased consumption fo sugar have anything to do with it?
