Sensitivity to cold after perm. crown treatment

Sensitivity to cold after perm. crown treatment

Hello,
Well I am 28 weeks pregnant and I have just had  a permanent Crown placed on 3 days ago!  This tooth has been an on going problem since dec 2010! Started off as a cavity, 2 weeks later nerve became infected due to solution used. So they cleaned and gave me a temporary filling... well over the course of the last 6 month i had the filling replaced 4 times due to sensitity to hot and cold.  I decided to see another dentist in the office. He found that the tooth has been fractured so.. he started with a crown treatment! The temporary crown was very painful... sore even.. but i had no hot and cold sensation. 2 1/2 weeks later I had the Permanent crown placed on.. which was very very painful that first night.. i couldnt even breathe in the cool air.. i was up all nite!! The next morning he placed bonding compound on the tooth.  It feels much better from all the times before... and def from that first nite when i got this done.. but it still has a slight sensivity to cold water... not so much air or hot anymore. I'm just wondering if this is normal sensitivy? If so how long should I wait to allow everything to heal?  PLease PLease help me!!!!

Seeing an endodontist is advised. If there is no pulp pathology identified, seeing a prosthodontist is advised.
