Sharp (feels like bone) poking out through gum where my tooth was extracted

I had several teeth extracted including some wisdom teeth under an IV sedation a few days ago (Friday April 15th) Today i noticed there is a sharp point poking almost out through my gum near my cheek in one of the molars he extracted. It is really sore and on top of the stitches causing me pain it's really hurting my gum to eat on that side of my mouth. I am really worried something is seriously wrong with this extraction, because every other extraction is fine. Can you tell me what this might be or if it will go away? Similar experiences, advice, anything to help is appreciated. Thank you
