Small sores on Tongue.

I've been seeing small sores on my tongue. Initially 3 weeks before, i had it on the left side of the tongue almost near the tip of the tongue. After two three days i had it on the right side exactly as the same spot of the first one, but on the right. After that i had a small sore on the inner part of the tongue, towards the throat almost at the center. It repeated two three times and again today in the evening I've one on the right side of the tongue, but on the different position than the last time. All of those were lasting only for a day and will disappear the next day, i awake? What could be the problem.
I've noticed that it appeared after taking the following drugs:

Amitryptiline
Ranitidine
Flunarazine dihydrochloride
Clonazepum disposible tablets

All of which are, tablets taking for an anxiety headache. Now also continuing the last two tablets I mentioned.

Amitriptyline is an antidepressant.  I do not know the other meds that you are taking.  If you have been on antibiotics, the sores that you are getting may be to do with oral thrush.  The doctor can take a swab to find out if this is the case.  Bonjela is very helpful to apply on to the sores for relief and allow them to heal.  If you do have oral thrush you can buy Daktarin oral gel from the pharmacist or your doctor may prescribe it to you.

Sores can also appear on the tongue due to anaemia or Vitamin B group deficiency.  I found vitamin B12 helpful.  It may be a good idea to get a blood test taken to check your blood for anaemia and Vitamin B group deficiencies.

Sometimes sores on the tongue can happen due to rough edges on the teeth and also having a very dry mouth with lack of saliva.  If you feel you have any roughness on the teeth, the dentist will be able to smooth down any rough edges.

Best wishes.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
A clinical examination is necessary to confirm the cause. Inflamed papillae can sometimes cause small, painful bumps on the top surface or upper sides of your tongue. Tongue sores are usually caused by trauma, physical injury, bacterial or viral infections, vitamin deficiencies and tonsillitis. If sores are large, painful, or persistent, it is best to consult a doctor. It is best to avoid citrus fruits and acidic vegetables and spicy foods till it is cured. Brushing with a soft-bristled brush after meals and flossing daily may help in preventing more sores from developing. Treatment involves treating the cause, an antimicrobial mouth rinse, over-the-counter solution to reduce the pain and irritation and a corticosteroid ointment if needed. Consult your attending doctor and clarify your concerns if these drugs are causing these symptoms. See a physician.
Best wishes and regards!
