Sore bottom front teeth gums
My bottom front gums have been hurting me for about 5 days now. The feeling is a throbbing pain. There isn't any noticeable redness or bleeding but there is a thin layer of white around the front bottom 4 teeth. I just had a cleaning 4 months ago. Very painful, what could this be? I am careful when I brush and I floss regularly. Not even Tylenol helps the pain. When I called the dentist, the receptionist told me it could be a virus that could last ten days? I am not sure what to do because it really throbs every second of the day.

Seeing a periodontist is advised.
