Sourness after re-crown the old root canal

Sourness after re-crown the old root canal

I had a root canal for which after some time crown came out and it was in same position (without any crown) for some time. After some time again I went to see another dentist and dentist put a crown on that. Even after putting crown, I had some sourness (but not the pain) on that tooth continuously for which I have been kept on telling the dentist. Finally after 6-7 months that dentist cut the crown and doing the crown again. Though he is doing it again (right now I’m on temporary crown), I’m afraid I may still have same sourness.

Could you please suggest what could be the problem and the solution to that?

Thanks in advance!!

if there is no bone pathology associated with root canal treatment, your symptom is probably associated with occlusion of new restoration. If your restorative dentist can adjust bite optimally, you may need to see an occlusionist or prosthodontist.
