Stained teeth fix?

Is there any fix for this? I went to the dentist and they wouldn't even acknowledge this even though its what I scheduled my appointment for in the first place. Its very unappealing and looks like the stain is sitting in a hole on the side of my tooth but my dentist said she can't do anything about it. Please help!!!

it appears that the cavity can be fixed based on your descriptions. You may need to find another dentist to take care of the problem.
