Still bleeding, nasty taste..worried

I had my tooth or molar taken off, ( i heard it was number 30) or second tothe last. I had a cavity i never fixed then i somehow broke that same tooth and later i had a boil and pus comming out of it, So yesterday i went to the dentist in a long time and they took the remaining pieces off. They also gave me pills to take for the infection. I havent stopped bleeding and its been over 24 hours. The space where my tooth was is a dark red (sort of like dry blood and stuff) i have a nasty taste in my mouth because of the blood. i stopped using the guazes or what they are called. how long does it take to stop the bleeding, im getting kinda worried about it. Also, i was checking the space on the mirrior, i know the gum is closingthe open space but it continues to bleed and i touched it and a piece of something is hanging, i think its the coat that forms after a cut sorta like a scab. but idk...Please help.. it doesnt hurt or anything... what can i do or should i do...

Don't disturb the socket.  Try to bite down on a tea bag.  Sometimes it can help with the bleeding if you don't want to use the gauze.  Is there some small trace amounts of blood in your saliva?  Or is it actually bleeding like a fresh cut?  If it is bleeding like a fresh cut, use the tea bag or gauze and bite down on it for 30 minutes.  If the bleeding won't stop, you may need to go to the ER or contact your dentist.
