Still have a tender cheek.

Three years ago had an abcess (abscess) (it was near a root filled broken tooth)  I went to see my dentist and he prescribed me a weeks course of antibotics and made an appointment for me to have the tooth out after I finished the antibotics. I went back to have the tooth out and he started to give me the injections, the first few injections he put into the gum under the tooth were not numbing at all, and I did say to him that it felt as if the injection was hitting something hard in my gum, then he gave me injuctions into the side of my cheek near where the jaw joins, on the first injection I felt like an electric shock go down the whole side of my face, I told him what I had felt and he did not say anything and then he went to do the next injection in the same area and the same electric shock happened again and it was more painful than the first. My mouth at this point still was not feeling very numb and I told him that and he said what the sensation of numbness would feel like and I said I knew what it felt like because I had injuections previously.After a few more injections my mouth was slightly numb but it did not feel as numb as  on previous times I had injections. He took the tooth out and the tooth next to it although I knew it would feel uncomfortable, it actually hurt. I was bleeding fairly heavily  and  I think I recall him putting cotton padding in my mouth and then he said I could go. I was in there for 45 mins. I still have  a very tender cheek and these past few weeks  I have had tooth ache in another tooth near to where I had the teeth out, and not only has my tooth been hurting but I have had an  ache  in my cheek, and at the joint of my jaw and also some discomfort around the ear area.
