Strange Tooth / Gum pain

Strange Tooth / Gum pain

Hi,

I have been having bad tooth ache (perhaps gum ache) for the past 3 weeks when exposed to cold or warm (Hot) liquids, I have been to the dentists many times and have had 1 root canal done twice and an old root canal done again in the area were my teeth/gums hurt,

From the first visit to the dentists she had no idea what the problem was after taking x-rays of the area of pain. so I assume she was just removing any possible problems at my expense. Anyway the pain continues and is triggered by temperature changes. (Hot and cold liquids), This is odd becuase I do not have any nerves in those teeth anymore (even the last visit with drilling with no local anathetic I did not experince any pain).

I was treating the pain with clove oil and other products, and at a guess I think I have manage to burn my gum as it does feel more tender than the other gums (Perhaps the onset pain has been fixed but I have induced new damage using undiluted clove oil?!). The gums get very sensitive after a pain attack. Pain is also worse overtime while sleeping.

My dentist told on the last visit that the gums do not look damaged or red/sore. So very confused whats causing the problem. I also visited the doctors and had a head x-ray of my sinuses and everything was fine there.

I was also wondering about possible heart issues, but I imagine jaw and tooth aches relating to heart problems cannot be suppressed easily with room temperature water?!

Any input or suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Peter
