Strange bump

Strange bump

I have a strange bump, whitish grey that appears on the inside of my mouth, on the skin just opposite near the bottom of the gum/tooth sockets on my lower jaw.  The weird thing about this bump (its about a few millimeters round) is that it appears after I eat (especially high glycogen / sugar content foods) or I elevate my heart rate during exercise.  The dentist doesn't really see it because other than after eating or exercising my skin is usually normal there and the bump doesn't come out.

I recently was diagnosed with a few genital warts and am now a little paranoid I may have one in my mouth, but don't think that the wart would appear and disappear like that.  Mostly its not there, just after eating.  Maybe I'll eat a box of Oreos before visiting the dentist next time?   I just finished eating, and during the time it took to type this, the bump nearly disappeared!

Any idea what this is?

From your description it is possible that you have a blocked or partially occluded salivary duct. I would suggest to consult an oral surgeon.
