Suddenly getting cavities
I have gone 20 years without a single cavity and have good tooth hygene.  I go to get my teeth cleaned every 8 months about.  Every time I was free of cavities.  However the last time I went I was told that I have 9 cavities.  Is there something that changes as you get older or am I lacking something.

some medications and/or medical conditions (like chemo or meth use) can cause people to be prone to more cavities but considering you had them spring up suddenly seems really strange. did you go to the same dentist? did you ask why the was such a dramatic change in your dental health? a second opinion may be called for!
