Swelling after molar extraction

Swelling after molar extraction

had extraction of #30 lower (my right) molar yesterday am, under laughing gas, and 8 shots of novocaine (seemed to me that last two were injected directly into broken tooth, front and back). Remember surgeon saying "We have a hot tooth". Towards end of procedure, felt that I could not swallow, and was choking on sinus drainage. Surgeon calmed me down, but was panicky for two hours after procedure. This am have swelling in gum under site from throat to almost front teeth, and pain not controlled by vicodin extra from throat under jaw to right eye. Am doing exactly what instructed, should I be concerned ?

you wouldnt be getting any sinus drainage cause your sinus is on the top not on the bottom.Swelling is normal.
