Swelling on hard palate

Dear Help,

I've notice a small lump on my hard palate 2 months ago and I didn't take care of it because it doesn't hurt unless if I push it hard by my tongue or my finger I feel like a pressure on my gum and central teeth, and that annoys me till now.
I'm worried from cancer or something very bad

I'm a smoker

today when I woke up from sleep the lump become soft and flat, and I feel my tooth is moving, I hope it is not that serious, yeah and I want to mention that tooth is broken into third

See your dentist so that you can know exactly what this is, early detection is key to preventing something from becoming serious. I doubt it's cancer but it shouldn't be there.  Make an appt. right away and take care.
