I had a temporary crown put in 3 days ago........Is it normal for the area to still feel sore and a little dull pain?

I have had a lot of problems with this tooth already.......Had root canal/then got an abscess...........

Finally was fitted with the temp. and I don't know if it should feel sore? hurt? and, if so.......is tylenol good to take? or , is advil better?

if anyone has experienced this, please console me! :)

Thank you~

There can be a number of things that are going on. The temp maybe irritating the gum tissue or the root canal maybe still a problem. I certainly would not permanently cement any crown before the tooth is asymptomatic.I think Advil would better serve your purposes.
