TMJ and teeth damageeee

Okay soo i'm only 20 and have a ton of problems, and one is that i have TMJ pretty bad. I have never had braces and my teeth have always been perfectly straight, but recently i have noticed it seems my teeth are kind of getting crooked and i am starting to get a small overbite wheni move my jaw a certain way. So my question is can TMJ cause jaw and teeth shifting, and if so what should i do?

What kind of TMJ problem do you have?  Its possible that it can be causing problems with your bite as the bite is composed of three major components, the teeth themselves and how they fit, the TMJ and the muscles that open and close your mouth.  Also, if your teeth are moving, it can also be caused by unusual functions such as grinding/clenching at night.  Also, the muscles in the mouth also play a large part.  Your tongue may be pushing your teeth.  Teeth aren't stable and they can drift or move in the jaw bone.  If you have gum problems, it can also affect the stability of the teeth in the jaw.  As you can see, there's lots of possibilities.  You may need to see a dentist to really find out whats going on.
