I am basically afraid to have my teeth cleaned, I am scared. Last time I had it done it caused so much pain and the scraping noise drove me nuts. And even a drill noise from my Dentist, or on tv will cause me to get up and leave.
Do they have any newer ways of cleaning teeth now? Painless noiseless invention,,,,,, not to do at home but thru a dentist.
Folks I am dentist phobic,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I need to get work done but can not stand the noise or pain.
They can give you drugs to take right before the appointment I'm sure. It will help you relax. I think most dentist do this, ask your dentist about it :).
My ex would clean his own teeth with a dental tool but you really should go to a dentist! They can catch problems, see things you can't and make sure you're healthy.
I plan on taking Ativan before my next few appointment :/. I hate drills! And as my question/post will show( I posted earlier today) I haven't exactly had good experiences with trips to the dentist :(. Good luck!
