Temp. Crown

by Katie17, Apr 03, 2008 04:57PM
I just had a temporary crown put in ( im 17)and i was wondering how i keep the tooth healtly so that whem the put the permanent one on my tooth hasnt rotted away. Im very paranoid that im going to be left with a big gapping hole in the front of my mouth. Plus i dont like the way the temp. feels is the real crown going to fit better, and im also scared that the new crown wont look natural and that it wont blend in with my teeth. Can someone please help answer my questions because im so worried that ive actually made myself sick to my stomach!

Final restoration is supposed to be the duplicate of provisional crown. If the morphology of the temporary doesn't meet the functional and cosmetic demand, you may need to go back to your dentist to reshape the contour of temporary crown until full satisfaction is met.Final restoration is supposed to be approved by the patient before cemetation of the crown.During trial in, you may have a close look of the crown and family members may be around to take a look.
