Three Days ago I began feeling small bumps on the floor of my mouth. The are barely visible but they are white. It feels like the floor of my mouth is rough like sand.
What could this be? Are the bumps on the floor of my mouth connected to what's going on with my tonsils?
I'm actually more concerned with the bumps under my tongue because I think I have tonsilithes. I've been gargling with warm salt water and with a 50/50 Listerine / Peroxide mix. And drinking Tea with lemmon.
Is it an STD? Food Allergy? Any info would be great!
It is difficult to diagnosis this from this forum so I would suggest you see an oral surgeon for a definitive diagnosis. From what you describe it does not seem serious
Hi,
This may be something totally different from what you are experiencing, but in case you still have your tonsils...I stronly recommend you see a throat, ears & nose Doctor.
I had white bumps on my tonsils which left a horrible taste in my mouth. After a while the white bumps started to come off the tonsils and into my mouth (sorry if this is gross)and I let it go for years, (why? I don't know) finally I went to a throat, ears & nose specialist and he said my tonsils needed to come out fast.. as in NOW. Naturally I was so nervous to have surgey, But I trusted my Doctor and had it done. Afterwards the Doctor told me I had the worst case he has ever seen, my tonsils actually fell apart when he was removing them and were full of puss. It has been the greatest thing I have ever done and I'm so sorry I didn't do it years before. Before the surgery my family Doctor gave me antibiotics and said I had strep(?) throat, but as soon as the antibiotics were done the bumps were back. Don't know if this is helpful, but thought I'd share.
Hope you feel better :)
