Tip of my gums look worn down

So i was wondering, i have the tips of my gums between my teeth and they are not smooth.  Just the front bottom, maybe two of them, but thats all.  They were inflamed due to poor hygene, but after getting back on track with brushing, flossing and mouth wash, they are not inflamed, but now looks like they are bumpy at the tips.  They dont bleed or hurt, just feel funky.  

Could this be my gums stretching and finally the inflamation (inflammation) going down and they are like that perminatly?
