Tired of this

I had been hospitalized twice. I don't feel it is what they are saying "Cellulitis Strep in a Tissue" of the face. Four days prior I had had a cap put in, and the Dr. used extreme pressure. Face swelled bad, had intravenuous for 12 days or  more. Do you think this can be a dental problem and what kind of doctor should I go to. Thank  you so much for any assistance you can give me.

you could have got the strep while having the dental procedure but the test is pretty accurate. its a bacteria that gets in a break in the skin and usually stays right where that break occurs instead of moving thru the body via the bloodstream. i had it from a bug bite twice. it was painful, red, hot, itchy, and expanded quickly. i went to my regular dr and took antibiotics for a month each. the hospital should have given you more information!
