Too Narrow for Implant?

by Needtoothhelp, Oct 30, 2009 01:20AM
My lower middle front tooth (#24) has a crack below the gum (from a fall). I went to one oral surgeon who said that my tooth is too narrow for an implant. I don't think I want a bridge because they then have to narrow the two surrounding teeth.  Don't know what to do.

Get a second opinion on this.  A bridge should be your last resort because even with good oral hygiene you can develop decay under, and at the base of the bridge.
