Tooth #14 Extracted - Sinus Hole - Suction Feeling HELP

Facts:

Tooth #14 extracted  7 days ago.

Sinus hole so Dr. put Collogen (sp?) and tape. Told to come back in 2 weeks.

Tonite all of a sudden the toot opening constantly gets a suction feeling like when I talk or move tongue. I am not doing anything to instigate it.
.
Feels dangerous like a pulling sensation and has me very scared. Can't get to Dr. until morning

Is this the blood clot wanting to come out ?

Any advice ?

Thank You for your response.

1. Yes, I have been following home care to the T.
2. Yes, on antibiotics and decongestant to help healing

Saw my oral surgeon today and he said it is healing nicely. Only been 8 days.

He said the bizarre sucking sensation I am feeling is the result of the swelling going down and the extremely thinks layer of tissue/gum? forming.

He told me not to worry about it.

I hope this passes soon because I can't talk much without getting the sensation and feeling it is not good.

AHHHHHHHHH.

Thanks for your response.

Are you on antibiotics and decongestants also?  Have you been following the home care instructions given to you by your dentist?

You should probably have it checked out by your dentist to make sure the sinus isn't exposed to the mouth.  They'll have to take a look.  Meanwhile continue your home care.
