Tooth Extraction/Blood Clot/Grinding at night

I am having 4 teeth removed on Friday morning. I grind my teeth at night and am concerned this will reopen the blood clots while I sleep.

Should I be concerned?

Thanks a lot,

J

Two are my wisdom teeth on the right side. They are both fully grown in. The others are the upper right K9 and 19 on the bottom. What do you say?

dont think you will have any problems.... even if you grind your teeth... your teeth are going to stop you from actually biting the socket "hole".....when grinding its tetth against teeth not teeth against gum.... so the areas should be just fine..... how did you sleep last night?? pain ful this morning?

I dont think grinding will dislodge the clot. I had a root canal go bad and the dds had to pull my farthest back bottom molar and i got dry socket. i do grind my teeth but i got dry socket by choking on a drink of water and the coughing dislodged it. just prop yourself up on a pillow, thrown and and ice pack, dont swish your mouth and try not to cough! good luck!
