Tooth Extraction Gone Horribly Wrong

by Sioux75, Aug 31, 2005 12:00AM
Help, I took my husband to my family dentist and he wanted to pull his rotten wisdom tooth.  As he started pulling, it wasn't coming out and the denists pulled and tugged for an hour trying to get it out and broke the tooth off.  The top of the Wisdom tooth is out, but the bottom where the root is, is still stuck in his mouth.  My husband is in horrible pain.  He says his gland is swollen. I'm afraid it will get infected.  What can we do?

You need to go to an oral surgeon as soon as you can.
