Underside of Tongue
What the underside of a healthy tongue is supposed to look like?

The reason I ask is because mine has a few tiny nodules protruding from the underside.  They are soft and pink and irregular in formation.  Is this normal or is it some kind of abnormal growth?

Answers greatly appreciated.

The underside of the tongue varies from person to person.  There are sublingual salivary glands as well as blood vessels present that can be seen and vary in appearance.  If something doesn't feel normal or if the appearance is changing, you should have a dentist or an oral surgeon examine you.
