Unfinishe root canal due to calcified canals

I went to the dentist yesterday for a root canal.  She was able to get through and clean out two canals but could not get through the other two on tooth #26 due to them being calcified.  I have been refered to a endodontis.  My question is, is it possible to leave the temp filling in to see if there are any complications or pain.  Now that two canals have been done and it seems that nature had taken care of the two other canals is it possible to get a permanent filling put in if there is not more pain????  thanks

Usually we prefer to fill all the canals due to potential problems with the canals.  On the universal tooth counting system, number 26 is a lower incisor, which normally would only have 1-2 canals.

The dentist probably made a referral for a good reason.  I would go to the endodontist and get it taken care of for peace of mind
