Upper Denture Partial

Went to the Dentist this past week  and was told I needed a upper partial. Whats the difference between a immediate one then a permanent one in  6 months. The price was a 30 difference could I get away with using the immediate one for good . THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

Depends on your particular case.  

It takes up to 6 months for the jaw bone to fully heal and repair itself.  During that time, the jaw will change and the fit of the denture will get worse as time goes by.  Usually we do one set after the extractions immediately so you have your teeth and then another set possibly after 6 months.  You could look into possibly relining the immediate denture to see if you can adjust it to fit your mouth after 6 months but there's no guarantee that'll work and its possible you may still need a new one.
