Upper right jaw bone pain after bridge/crown prep

Upper right jaw bone pain after bridge/crown prep

I chose to have a tooth pulled that needed a root canal. My mother died of cancer and told be never get a root canal. She swore that the cancer in her breast grew rapidly after she had an absess (abscess) and dental work done. So after reading Whole Body dentistry I was certain that some of my physical problems were linked to this tooth. I had a pulpotomy done but never went back to complete the root canal. The pain was gone after the pulpotomy and since the root canal was $3000 and I did not have insurance I needed to save and research. I had developed a post nasal drip, an endless cough that eventually went away but then asthma and weezing started occuring every night. There was no pain in the tooth but I could feel a tenderness in my upper right jaw area just under the skin. So I had the tooth pulled and the Dentist showed my the absess (abscess) that was lodged under my root. This absess (abscess) was on the sinus meridian- which could have caused the continual post nasal drip for sooooo long! So I waited the 3 months for the gum line to heal and stabilize before being preped for a bridge. For this bridge I had 1 cuspis preped for a crown and the other molar was preped for only a section being used to hold the bridge in. Within 1 hour of getting the large molar sectioned, the large molar section temp section fell out. So I went back to the dentist and this time he used permenant cement made by GC Corp/ Fuji Plus Capsule.  And I found out the temp crown is cemented with Parkell TR-2- temporary resin cement. By this time the novicain had worn off  and I could feel pain. There was no pain anywhere in my mouth nor jaw line prior to getting preped for the bridge. So the Dentist shaved down the temporary for a better fitting bit and that helped a little bit. That night I was crying in pain with shooting pains going up the right side of my face.  So I googled the MSDS (material data saftey sheets) for the permanent cement that was going to be holding together this bridge (at this time I did not know the brands of cement that had been used on me that day). To my suprise the material scheduled to go into my mouth was ICEM by Heraeus (a self adhesive cement). The hazardous warnings on this msds astounded me- do not breath, was clothes immediatley, do not swallow. Now having a better understanding that teeth are alive and porus I now want to understand how the toxic cement can affect the whole body. If these cements come with toxic material saftey data sheets and these cements are put directly on an alive tooth that is still in communication and moving nutrients to and from the body, will the cement seep into my body like mercury has been found to do. At this point I am experiencing upper jaw tenderness where there was none prior to the preping. I canceled the bridge and am going to get a blood test done which will tell me what out of 150 dental materials I am not allergic to. But I also want to get an analysis on my jaw/bit/ and neuromuscular situation. The statement Steven Covey says in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is coming to me "Fast is slow". I tend to want my dental work done fast but I feel that faster I try to get this stuff done I just end up 2 steps behind. So I am now searching far and wide for the right dental cements, bit analysis and bridge make up. I am also understanding that due to electrical charge you never want gold or amalgum in your mouth. I am going 100% porcelin but I would like to know what Lava is made up of. Hope you can answer all of these questions in depth and with clearity. Thanks a bunch!

Your descriptions suggest occlusal interference introduced by temporary restorstions which is extremely common . The material used during contemporary dental restoration is generally not the culprit of clinical problems.Going back to your dentist to adjust occlusion is advised. If your dentist can not solve your problem, yopu may need to see an occlusionist or prosthodontist.
