Veneer glue burned my face

Hello, my veneer came off. I went into the dentist and while he was gluing my veneer back on I felt a burning sensation on my face. I wasn't too alarmed until I got to my car and looked at my face. It was red and the burning sensation was increasing. I went home hoping to wash my face hoping it would go away.
It didn't. It's day three and I went to my dermatologist yesterday and she said I have empentigo caused by whatever he was doing. All we can think of is that he had glue on his glove and while he was gluing and pushing on my face it must have injured me. I look horrible.
My question is. Have you ever heard of this before? Can the glue that's used in dental offices burn the skin? Do you think I got the staph infection in the dentists office? Right away within an hour it blistered popped and peeled.

They normally use tooth colored filling material to put the veneers on. it could be from the uv light that they used to set the flg material. I would call and check with the dentist who put it on.
