Weakening Enamel?

Weakening Enamel?

Recently I have notcied that my front teeth are beginning to become transparent at the bottoms - presumably from weakening enamel. I think I got this because I was using Whitening Toothpaste, which I have now heard can be quite abrasive. Also, I chipped my front tooth when I was a lot younger, and now the chip has got bigger. Is this a direct result of the weakening of the enamel? And what can I do to help strengthen the enamel back now? I am using a Pronamel toothpaste, but am really not sure if it will work.

Thanks!

the toothpaste will help you not to lose anymore enamel but will not build it back up. once the enamel has eroded it is gone forever. if it gets too bad a crown may become necessary.
