What are these white patches under my teeth?

What are these white patches under my teeth?

Hello,

I've had these two white patches on my bottom gum for a while (few years now), but have just noticed them really flaring up as of late. They aren't warm or have pus. They are hard to the touch (like bone).

I've noticed them as of late because my bottom teeth feel a lot of pressure, especially near the gum line. I also think they might be moving. Could this be receding gums? An abcess (abscess)? Cancer?

Dental History:
Brush 2x a day, floss every day, mouthwash every morning, fluoride rinse every night.
Wisdom teeth out three years ago (tops only, was not born with bottoms)
Pack a week smoker for about 5 years

Thanks,

Smoking definitely puts you at higher risk for any kind of pathology so I would definitely get it checked out by your dentist.  It may not be anything but tori (extra bone) since its hard but if its something thats questionable, a biopsy would tell you what it is.
