What's the problem with the back of my gums?

3 days ago, maybe 4, the gums behind my molars felt numb. I wouldn't say it hurts but it felt, and still feels, weird. I also noticed that it seemed as if a new tooth grew..? It's aligned really weirdly though, it's shifted to the side. It's really irritating because when I open my mouth, it hurts. As well as when I swallow. Also around that new tooth, part of the gums looks weird, kind of like white (it's around the tooth). I'm worried right now and unsure of what this is. I'm planning on going to the dentist soon though.
