White Painless Bump on top gum That will not go away

I discovered a small white bump on my top gum several months ago. It is painless but not nice to see.
I recently tried squeezing it and white residue was released. The white bump shrunk but with time grew back to the size it was before.
What is it?
What can I do to remove it?

Go see your dentist, sounds like an abscess.
