Whole-mouth pain ....wisdom teeth?

I recently had cavities filled (little over a month ago) and in the past few days my whole mouth has been in pain (think combination of getting your braces tightened as a child and being punched in the mouth)...as an aside, I have yet to get my wisdom teeth removed and I am 26. There is no swelling, discoloration, etc....just pain. I have been taking 800mg IBprofin 3x day (I called the dentist and asked about taking this much and she seemed to think it was fine) just to combat the pain, tried gargling with mouthwash, whiskey, saltwater, and tried orajel....nothing has kept me pain free for a day. It is a constant aching pain (not sharp) that varies from a level 2 to level 7 throughout the day...any suggestions as to what it may be and how I can combat the pain until my appointment on Tuesday (5 days away)??
