Wisdom teeth and Jaw wan't open

Any help here is appreciated.
I had my 2 lower Wisdom Teeth removed 30 August. Jaw has been swollen since but is slowly going down. The main problem is I can only open my jaw about 3/4 of an Inch. I have been taking Clindamycin for about a week now and I'm unsure if it's doing any good, I've also been doing the Warm Washrag on the jaw. Is this Normal, how much longer and any other suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I think as the swelling reduces the ability to open your mouth will increase. If you are still experiencing trismus(difficulty in opening the jaw) after the swelling abates then I think you need to consult the doctor that did the extractions. Keep taking the antibiotics and the very warm salt water rinses.

all your complain is normal after the  surgical removal of wisdom teeth
dont worry at all
The condition usually resolves on its own in 10-14 days, during which time opening the mouth is compromised"check if u can pass 3 fingers in ur mouth". The application of heat (e.g. heat bag extraorally, and warm salt water intraorally) may help reducing the severity and duration of the condition and i recommend that u stop the clindamycin as the course is usually only one week also, long duration of  clindamycin usually causes git problems
