Yellow Tongue perhaps related to liver

I just called a herbalist about my yellow tongue. I had read that yellow tongue can be caused from sore throat (I had strep when I noticed the yellow) or mouth beathing at night. I haven't been able to get rid of it. The herbalist said it's related to the liver and recommended a whole freesh sqeezed lemon in a quart of water in the morning along with a liver cleanse formula such as Dr. Christopher's. We'll see if that's the trick!
