Hello I am a 25yr old woman who is a non smoker and non drinker.I have recently noticed a white spot at the right
side of my tongue.could it be dangerous.I have white areas in my mouth which can be removed by brushing but unfortunately this cannot be removed.It is not that much visible and can only be seen when i stretch my tongue to the left side.The information on the net have scared me a lot.
Malignant lesions of oral cavity tend to present non-healing ulcerated surface, indurated consistency,irregular border, increase in size quickly. Your presentations do'nt appear to be malignant. If you are concerned, seeing an oral pathologist or oral surgeon is advised.
